My name is Sarah Wilson and I combine flower farming with floristry.  My husband, Bob and I launched Compton Garden Flowers in 2016. We are based in the Somerset village of Compton Dando, and can be found 6 miles from Bath and 7 miles from Bristol.

We are passionate about British flowers and grow the vast majority of our plants from seed. Our flowers are quintessentially cottage garden, grown because they make great cut flowers which ooze with colour and scent. Our aim is to grow these beauties so our customers can enjoy fresh cut flowers each and every season.

We supply our customers across Bath & Bristol – customers who want  British flowers for a special event or occasion. We have everything you need for your wedding celebrations.  If you want to arrange your own flowers, we supply buckets full of beautiful blooms cut and ready to go, or we can design and create the complete floral look for you - or all points in between, the choice is yours.  We also supply a number of artisan floriest who specialise in using British grown flowers.

Throughout the year we run floristry workshops helping our customers learn how to create beautiful arrangements and bouquets using beautiful British flowers. Our flowers can also found on our barrow at Newton Farm Shop

We also welcome customers to our field, if you would like to visit or you just want to chat about our offer, just call 07836 201611

Our flowers are grown as sustainably as possible with the environment in mind.  We don't use pesticides or herbicides.  We minimise our use of plastics and we don't use any single use plastic - which means we wash our pots and re-use! We also use methods such as soil blocking for some sowing which removes the need for plastic pots entirely!

We let nature help us manage - the birds feed on the little critters that can cause us problems and the bees enjoy a varied diet and pollinate our beautiful blooms
